Who is eligible for a Students In Need card?
On the website it states you need to be a student over 16 years of age.
How much does the Students In Need Card cost?
The basic membership is free.
The Premium membership costs £4.95 and like the NUS Extra scheme runs from September to August.
How does the Students In Need Card work?
When you have purchased the premier membership, you will have access to exclusive codes that you enter into the merchants check out page. The student discount will then be added.
Is the Students In Need Card worth it?
The basic membership won’t cost you anything so it’s worth signing up for that.
If you regularly shop at the shops included in the scheme, especially Oasis and New Look where you get a 20% discount, then you can get the £4.95 back in one shop of £25.
Remember though that the Students In Need card works for online purchases only.
